A young man and woman are accused of stabbing two people to death and trying to destroy the bodies with chemicals.
Tiffanie Pierce, 23, and Augustus Standingrock, 26, were arrested on Friday after police made the grim discovery at a house in Montana.
The bodies of a man and a woman were discovered in tubs filled with chemicals in the basement of the property in Missoula.
Officers with a search warrant also discovered knives and an axe with human blood and tissue on them.
Pierce and Standingrock are charged with deliberate homicide and accountability for deliberate homicide.
Neither defendant entered a plea when they appeared before Missoula County court on Monday. Bail was set at $2million.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
